FAMENE, the medical university from Faculdade Nova Esperança was the first university in the northeast of Brasil to integrate Body Interact on its curriculum.

With the Virtual Patient simulator, the university puts innovation at the service of clinical education and drives students to develop their critical thinking and decision making skills.

According to Carolina Santiago, the vice-secretary of Faculdade Nova Esperança, “this digital simulator is capable of solving medical problems and develop clinical thinking by using virtual patients. This acquisition is part of the constant investment the university is doing to provide students with the best technological environment”.

After all, as the university refers, “technological advances demand from doctors continuous education, which helps them do a detailed analysis, for an individual or an all class, with measures of action and an interactive interface that facilitates the creation and execution of OSCE”.
