On the 5th edition of the SIGMA European Conference, Body Interact promoted a webinar with 4 international nursing educators where they were invited to share their opinion and experience within the use of virtual patients.
Leila Sales, one of our speakers, is the most recent educator using Body Interact on the panel. With a more complex and demanding healthcare field, more informed patients and students with different interests and learning paces, educators need to find new tools and strategies that can help them doing a better job.
For the coordinator of the Nursing degree course at the Escola Superior de Saúde da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa as a serious game, Body Interact “brings realism and innovation to the classroom”. Moreover, it attracts students as it “allows them to make mistakes and to do their self-analysis of competencies and enables a debriefing session with the educator.
