Body Interact Approved under the 14-State NDPA | Student Data Privacy

What Is the 14-State National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA)?

The National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA) is a collaborative effort led by the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC), created to streamline compliance with federal and state laws governing student data protection — including FERPA, COPPA, and various state-specific regulations.

The agreement simplifies contracting between school districts and EdTech providers by standardizing privacy terms. It’s recognized by a growing number of U.S. states as the gold standard for ensuring responsible data handling in K–12 education.

Currently, the following states participate in the 14-State NDPA:
MA, ME, IL, IA, MO, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, RI, TN, VT, and VA.
